Day 1: Arrival Hanoi - Good Morning Vietnam (D)
Welcome to Vietnam, transfer of 45 min to your hotel in town, (if it is still early then we can venture out for some culture shocks on a short walking tour in the Old Quarter of Hanoi - this is the way to get familiar with the people and the culture). Welcome dinner and water puppet show at night. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - Sapa (B,L,D)
Morning departure from you hotel. on the three wheels of a cyclo you will be guided through Hanoi history and culture & people and get some more shocks of the culture. This tour draws to: the Ho Chi Minh complex, Temple of literature, one of the Museums (Ethnology, Fine Art, Army, Women, History...) with lunch at restaurant then back to the Old Quarter for some more exploration. Night train at 9.30 to Sapa
Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa (B,L,D)
Get Lao Cai Railway Station at about 7h30. Transfer by coach to Sapa (45 mn). Breakfast on arrival at the hotel, just after check-in. Free at leisure at the hotel in the morning.
In the afternoon, visit Ta Van (Day) village, where you will enjoy a walk and discover the traditional way of life of welcoming people. Rice paddies, wooden bridges, and rivers. This area, which still remains unspoiled, offers magnificent scenery.
In the evening, enjoy a dinner in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Overnight in Sapa

Day 4: Sapa Surrounding - Hanoi (B,L)
Free day to explore on your own the village of Sapa and its colorful market. Sapa is home to more than 30 colourful hill tribes (Black H'mong, Flower H'mong, Red Dao) and to Vietnam’s highest peak: Mount Fansipan. Transfer to LaoCai train station for the night train back Hanoi. Overnight on train
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay of the world heritage (B,L,D)
Arrival from Sapa in the early morning. Take a mini van Ha Long city then boat cruise straight to the Bay with seafood lunch served on the Bay, cruise along the wonderful Bay in the afternoon with cave visit and swimming, dinner and sleep on boat (under thousands of stars)
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue (B,L)
Morning enjoy the sunrise, that would be great picture as it is raising up from the ocean and through the peaks of the limestone islands. Breakfast served on boat. Cruise back to Ha Long City. Lunch on boat before disembarking and drive back to Hanoi. Take the night flight to Hue. Welcome and transfer to hotel for checking in.
Day 7: City tour of Vietnam Last Feudal Dynasty (B,L)
Morning visit the Imperial Citadel and Emperor Khai Dinh’s mausoleum. In the afternoon visit Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb, Dong Ba market and Diem Phung Thi exhibition of sculptures. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Boat trip then to Hoi An - The charming old town (B,L)
Morning boat trip at 7.30 a.m along Perfume river to visit Thien Mu Pagoda emperors’ tombs of Minh Mang. Leave Hue in p.m. by a mini van for Hoi An, on the way stop for Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Cham Museum, Marble mountain, arrive in Hoian. Check in and over night in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An - Walking Tour in the Ancient Town (B)
Breakfast at hotel then walk with your tour guide to visit around Hoi An- the old Tan Ky House, Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Shop for tailored made silk products or spend your time at the wonderful beach. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 10: Da Nang - Nha Trang - The best beaches & corals (B)
Breakfast from hotel then airport transfer to Da Nang for fligh to Nha Trang, welcome and transfer to your hotel. Free to chill out on the beautiful and white sandy beach.
Day 11: Nha Trang - Island Boat trips (B,L)
08: 00 am: You will have one day boat trip. Firstly we will go to Mun Island, the best site for snorkeling where you will see lots of live colorful corals and fish. This site has been officially protected under the support of Danish Government. Relax, sunbath and swimming at Tam island. Then visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. At this place, you will see the life of the many sea species of Nhatrang Ocean that being made in a smaller world of this aquarium. Return to Nha Trang about 16.00h. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12: Flight to Ho Chi Minh City, City tour of Saigon (B,L)
Morning flight from Nhatrang to Saigon. Welcome at the airport and take a short city tour of SaiGon to visit Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, former US Embassy, War crimes Museum, Chinatown, Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Hotel
Day 13: Day trip to Tay Ninh and Cu Chi Tunnels (B,L)
09: 00AM: Spending full day to Tay Ninh with the Great CaoDai temple (a mixture of Buddhism, Confucius, Taoism, Hinduism and Christian). We see the noon mass (~one hour). Lunch in Tay Ninh. Afternoon we visit Cu Chi - a fabulous tunnel. You will have an opportunity to get the unique experience of guerillas living and fighting underground during the war (a crawl through 50–100 meters out 200 km of the tunnel system is unforgettable). Local rice paper workshops, nice paddy fields are pleasant sights on the way. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 14: Saigon - Visit the fertile Mekong Delta (B,L)
08: 00am: Our car will pick up at your hotel in early morning and transfer to Mekong Delta.
On arrival, embark a private boat to cruise around Cai Be Floating Market to see local people being selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisped producing process, etc… After lunch cruising along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. About 3 pm, the boat wills arrival at Vinh Long Market, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh with stop at Bonsai garden. Arrival at your hotel late in the evening.Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 15: Saigon (B)
Free space for you to relax, shop, note and well pack after the long visit throughout Vietnam for your flight home on the next day!
Day 16: Departure Saigon, Gooodbye Vietnam (B)
Free at your leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your next destination. |
